WE SALUTE YOU FOR ALL YOU DO TOO! THANKS, SCOOTER PETE'S & CREW

What a great experience for a new rider!  From start to finish…what great customer service.  You went above and beyond.  You gave me good advice, worked together to come up with best solutions for me, kept me from making mistakes, and encouraged me to fly!  I feel like part of the Scooter Pete’s family.  I’m one very satisfied customer.  Kudos to you ALL!  Cheryl

Pete
I have put a bit into the paper for FT Polk "The Guardian" for your
place.
You and Bubba have always treated me with the customer service I wish I
could get everywhere.
I thank you for looking at my Metric Motorcycle.  A fish out of water
for sure.
I and my wife very much enjoyed eating at your Iron Horse Grill.
I hope you can list my comments on your web site and appreciate your
support for our Soldiers here at FT Polk LA.

Respectfully

Don

Well thank you so very much. We try, but don't always make it. I am sorry to say Bubba is no longer with us. He is working in the oil patch. He even shaved! But never fear we now have Hagar, who is just as scary looking and knows his stuff.  We even have a new gal Pam who is running the front.  Never fear Tanya is still serving great food in the grill. Thanks again, always nice to her from customers. Pete & Nisee

I've gone to Scooter Pete’s twice now and both     times I've been very disappointed.

This last time, I didn't even get in the door before an employee popped an attitude

with me. I can understand the biker mentality but as you are a customer based

business maybe you should think about customer service. I've been told that the

employees weren't helpful and didn't care before, but I was hoping that wasn't the

case. I was wrong. I went there today to get a full face helmet and maybe look at

your selection of jackets but you can rest assured that I will never shop at

Scooter Pete’s again and that my friends, family, and the local chapter of my club

are going to be informed of the lack of customer service at Scooter Pete’s.

Thank you. "Nick"

Dear Nick;

I am sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with us. In the last month we have let one person go for putting heat in deals and another for poor customer service. Our employees are only people, like yourself and they too have bad days. As far as "Customer Service" we are all about that! We have had riders in for a rear tire and I would not let the bike out because the cord on the front tire is showing. The front is more dangerous than the rear tire. This one rider did not have the money at the time for a front tire. We gave him the tire and mount to keep him safe. That is only one of several times, we've done brakes that way also.

I even gave a helmet to a lady because she wanted one and needed one, but she had a limited income. So you can say what you like about Scooter Pete's, we are human, we make mistakes like everyone else. Some we can fix, some we can't. But we do the best we can for everyone, customer or not.

I am not sorry about the "Biker Mentality" you speak of. Scooter Pete's was built by bikers, it is run by bikers, to serve all bikers! If you spend money or not at Scooter Pete's everyone is welcome to just hangout and take a break, chat with the riders or take a nap on a picnic table. Put on your big boy pants and just ride!

Thank You, Denise "Nisee" McKinney

I would like to thank the guys in the service department. I brought my 99 Suzuki Marauder in due to some carb problems.

I asked for a Ball Park estimate for fixing it thinking that due to the problems I was having carbs need to be fully pulled down and cleaned.

Estimated price was perfectly with in reason for the repairs on what I expected to pay since the carbs are a pain to get to on this model bike.

Your service guys did an OUTSTANDING job bike is running great. They cleaned the carbs and changed the plugs on it and were $85.00 below the estimate.

Don’t find many service departments coming in under the estimate at all.

All staff were professional and a pleasure to work with.

You will have all my service needs from now on.

Thanks for the outstanding service and assistance.

When it comes to friendly and experienced folks who are able and willing to work on any brand, you just can't beat Scooter Pete's in Tyler.  I'm not just tooting their horn because they are local to the East Texas area and frequent this forum.  I've been their customer on more than one occasion, and they have always gone the extra mile to make sure I was on a safe machine when I left their shop.

I wish you had the opportunity to deal with Pete and Nisee just once.  You'd know firsthand what I'm talking about.   : Streaker

Thanks, Streaker!

Thanks, Guys!

Pete & Nisee,

Just a line to let you know how impressed I am with your new store and all the terrific people you've got working with you.
We dropped by last Thursday and looked things over and I was blown away with the whole thing, the store, the shop, the grill,
the employees.  Norma helped us find the denim vest I've been looking for and was very friendly to my Mother-in-law (Granny).
I bought a Fieldsheer mesh jacket in the spring and it has been a lifesaver in this heat.  We always look forward to dropping
by at Scooter Pete's whenever we are in Tyler.  Even more so, now.
Keep up the good work.  You are a blessing to many bikers in this area. Thanks for what you do.

Scooter Pete's - A Day in Their World

I have been soooo looking forward to sharing these pics
that I recently took, of our friends, Scooter Pete and his wife
Nisee's, new location.

Well how cool is this!! I caught Cupgrease and Snickers
 heading outside...."Hello you two!!!"

Here's some outside seating and they've got a good parking to handle
all our bikes (but as a little hint--you might want to put one of those
"pedal stands" under your kickstand if you ride one of those really
heavy bikes! The hot temperatures during the day soften the
blacktop--TRUST ME!)

Look at all their COOL MERCHANDISE!!

Look at this beautiful lamp!!

Here's a closer up view....(((sigh))) Absolutely BEAUTIFUL.....!!!

Now...how cool is this? When you look up, you'll see Nisee's office!!

Here is a picture of their huge area they've built to have more room to work on our bikes:

They even have a pretty good selection of bikes For Sale...I have a feeling they will try to expand this part too!

Looks like my friend, Angel, found "her" bike!! How about it, J.R.??

Hummmmm.....looks like J.R. wants to sit on "her" bike....she sure doesn't
look very happy about that!! hahaha  (Just playing with ya, kids!!)

Well....lets move over to the Department where all your PATCHES
that you want sewn on your jackets and vests can be done!

Next time you're in, check out their hours they are there...

..

When I saw this couple, I KNEW I wanted to snap their picture!
Her name is Meza, and I THINK his is Robert (sorry, I knew his name at
the time, but too much time has passed and I'm fuzzy now--many apologies!)

She just had that cute "biker" look...and they were awfully nice too!

Okay....NOW let's head over to one of our most favorites areas: FOOD!! And boy is it GOOD!!!

I even caught Scooter Pete "hard at work"!!

Scooter Pete: "Yessss.......may I help you??"

Here's a picture with me and my dear friend, Angel.....

These next pics were taken at our last bike night on 08-08-08....
Scooter Pete and Nicee finally made it to our
Bike Night after being M.I.A. for so long!! And lo and behold, she
was sporting her new, white beautiful bike (from Scooter Pete's, of course!!!)

Scooter Pete and Nisee look forward to seeing you at their new location!!
Come on over....they'll be waiting for ya!!!

This is too good to be true. It's hilarious!
Pennsylvania - ~Three Reported Missing After Animal Rights Activists Take "War on Leather" to Motorcycle Gang Rally.~

Johnstown, PA: Local and state police scoured the hills outside rural Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after reports of three animal rights activists going missing after attempting to protest the wearing of leather at a large motorcycle gang rally this weekend. Two others, previously reported missing, were discovered by fast food workers "duct taped inside several fast food restaurant dumpsters," according to police officials.

"Something just went wrong," said a still visibly shaken organizer of the protest. "Something just went horribly, horribly, wrong."

The organizer said a group of concerned animal rights activist groups, "growing tired of throwing fake blood and shouting profanities at older women wearing leather or fur coats," decided to protest the annual motorcycle club event "in a hope to show them our outrage at their wanton use of leather in their clothing and motor bike seats." "In fact," said the organizer. "Motorcycle gangs are one of the biggest abusers of wearing leather, and we decided it was high time that we let them know that we disagree with them using it... Ergo, they should stop."

According to witnesses, protesters arrived at the event in a vintage 1960's era Volkswagen van and began to pelt the gang members with balloons filled with red colored water, simulating blood, and shouting "you're murderers" to passers by. This, evidently, is when the brouhaha began.

"They peed on me!!!" charged one activist. "They grabbed me, said I looked like I was French, started calling me 'La Trene', and duct taped me to a tree so they could pee on me all day!"

"I... I was trying to show my outrage at a man with a heavy leather jacket. And, he... he didn't even care. I called him a murderer, and all he said was, 'You can't prove that.' Next thing I know is he forced me to ride on the back of his motorcycle all day, and not left me off, because his girl friend was out of town and I was almost a woman."

Still others claimed they were forced to eat hamburgers and hot dogs under duress. Those who resisted were allegedly held down while several bikers "farted on their heads."

Police officials declined comments on any leads or arrests due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, however, organizers for the motorcycle club rally expressed "surprise" at the allegations.

"That's preposterous," said on high ranking member of the biker organizing committee. "We were having a party, and these people showed up and were very rude to us. They threw things at us, called us names, and tried to ruin the entire event. So, what did we do? We invited them to the party! What could be more friendly than that? You know, just because we are all members of motorcycle clubs does not mean we do not care about inclusiveness. Personally, I think it shows a lack of character for them to be saying such nasty things about us after we bent over backwards to make them feel welcome."

When confronted with the allegations of force feeding the activists meat, using them as ad hoc latrines, leaving them incapacitated in fast food restaurant dumpsters, and 'farting on their heads,' the organizer declined to comment in detail. "That's just our secret handshake," assured the organizer
